Actor; Best known for portraying a mild-mannered high school science teacher in the sitcom "Mr. Peepers" (NBC, 1952-55) and as the voice of the superheroic canine "Underdog" (NBC, 1964-66; CBS, 1966-67; NBC, 1968-73).
