Mayor Richard J. Daley (1xxx-1976)
Politician; Was first elected Mayor of Chicago in April, 1955, becoming the 39th Chief Executive in the history of the city. He was reelected in 1959, 1963 and in 1967. In 1975 he broke precedent when he was elected for a sixth four-year term.
