Dik-Diks are graceful, Eastern African, dwarf antelopes.
At maturity they weigh up to 12 pounds and are 14 inches tall at the shoulder. These tiny animals have almost no tail and a small tuft of hair on the head. "Dik-dik" is the eastern African word for the animal, probably derived from the sound it makes.
